CLIFF HANGER
How To Play
Setup
The Franklin Sports Cliff Hanger Toss Game offers a fresh and engaging twist on the classic cornhole game. This game set includes a 36" x 24" durable wooden target with five staggered shelves of different sizes and heights, making the gameplay more dynamic. It also comes with six hexagonal bean bags, specifically designed for this game, and an accessory carry bag for easy storage and transport. The target is easy to assemble without tools and has a built-in handle for convenience.
Gameplay
Cliff Hanger challenges players to take turns tossing bean bags at the target. The objective is to land the bean bags on the shelves to score points. If a bag lands on a shelf, the player earns points. If an opponent's bag lands on top of a player's bag, the points are stolen by the opponent. An additional challenge is to land a bean bag so it hangs over the edge of a shelf without falling off—achieving this "Cliff Hanger" earns the player double points.
Scoring
The scoring in Cliff Hanger is similar to cornhole. Each shelf on the target has a specific point value. Players accumulate points based on where their bean bags land. Successfully landing a "Cliff Hanger" bag doubles the points for that shelf. The first player or team to reach 21 points, while leading by at least 2 points, wins the game.
History
Franklin Sports was started in 1946 by brothers Irving and Sydney Franklin. In addition to mainstream sports, they occasionally put out original games including yard games. Cliff Hanger is one of those games.
